Despite their precautions, Sukuna's fingers are scattered across the world. The scene shifts to a high school where we meet Yuji Itadori, a remarkably athletic student with extraordinary strength. He spends his days taking care of his ailing grandfather and is part of the Occult Research Club.

As Megumi inspects the school, curses are drawn to the power of Sukuna's finger. They begin to attack students in search of the cursed object. Yuji, along with his friends, encounters these curses. Despite being outnumbered and facing terrifying creatures, Yuji displays incredible physical prowess and manages to protect his friends.
Megumi and Yuji join forces to confront the curses and protect the students. During the chaos, it's revealed that Megumi is a jujutsu sorcerer, trained to combat curses. He explains the existence of curses, cursed energy, and jujutsu sorcery to Yuji.

As they struggle against the curses, Yuji learns about Sukuna's finger and the danger it poses. The situation escalates when the box containing the finger is damaged, releasing its cursed energy. With the students' lives at risk, Yuji makes a bold decision to consume the finger to prevent the curses from harming anyone.

However, by eating the finger, Yuji unwittingly becomes the vessel for Sukuna's power. He undergoes a transformation, showcasing the terrifying might of the cursed entity residing within him. Megumi and the jujutsu sorcerers observing the situation are shocked by Yuji's actions and the sudden emergence of Sukuna's presence within him.

The episode ends on a tense note as Yuji, now harboring the malevolent Sukuna within him, faces an uncertain fate and begins his journey into the dangerous world of curses and sorcery.

The first episode of Jujutsu Kaisen effectively introduces the main characters, establishes the existence of curses and jujutsu sorcery, and sets the stage for the thrilling and action-packed story that follows Yuji's journey as a jujutsu sorcerer
